I made fun of Troy for getting up to go fishing at 5 am. He thinks I should show all of you how insane I am. I got up at 5:30 Friday morning to go to spinning class. I got up at 5:30 today go run a 5K. I came in just under 30 min. My running partner and I were in the front of the group. There were 3 people in front of us that told us that we had gone too far and need to turn around. We ended up running 1/4 mile too far. My goal was to come in at 30 min and I did it. They said that I was 3rd but I think I was more like 5th, because there was 2 people that had to stop and help the other runners. I didn't think that was bad. There was about 40 of us that ran.

Right after we started. Kate was trying to get Troy to run with us.


This was .2 miles left in the race. Troy did not tell me that he was taking the picture. I look like I have ran a 5K.




When I got done racing, Kate came up to me and said "mom I have to go potty." The bathroom was all the way across the parking lot. We started walking and Kate said mom run with me. I got to run with her. That was fun.


I got a prize for being in 3rd place.


Kate loved the sunglasses. She put them on right when we got in the car and didn't take them off until we got home.


I am going to get up at 5:30 to go to spinning class on Monday. I think this is fun.
